In recent years’ legislation, codes of practice, policies and procedures have undoubtedly significantly improved Health, Safety & Environmental standards in construction. At Certus we are now fully promoting efforts to further improve Health, Safety & Environmental performance through behavioural change.
Regular and thorough communication to reinforce the risks involved in everything we do to ensure those involved understand and think about what they are doing before they start.
All of our Site Managers / Supervisors hold either an IOSH managing safely certificate, a CITB SSSTS or the full CITB SMSTS.
All of our operatives have CSCS cards as a minimum, with most holding CPCS accreditation for operating items of construction plant.
All of our employees understand their responsibilities for Health, Safety & Environmental. Our Health, Safety & Environmental performance is monitored daily in-house via our site and visiting Management teams. This is further supported with the help of an outside Health and Safety Consultant.
Certus has an Environmental Management System certified to BS 8555: 2003
